Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was wonderful! The rooms were great, with beds and pillows that were some of the best I've experienced. Being right by the ice machine was convenient, but I felt they could have been a bit cleaner. I enjoyed being at the end of the building with a veranda overlooking the pine forest.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic for exploring Mt Rushmore and Custer State Park. The rooms were cozy and pet-friendly, which was perfect for us traveling with our furry friend. The service was top-notch, very friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. However, the room could use a bit more lighting, especially for makeup application. The on-property restaurant was convenient, but the dining options were a bit limited. Overall, a great value for the location and amenities provided.
I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the rooms, even though they had a musty smell initially which quickly dissipated once I opened the windows. The idea of trying one of the cabins next time sounds appealing. The service was a mix of excellence with a kind gesture of leaving my envelope, but some staff could benefit from additional customer service training. The location is perfect for exploring Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park, with various accommodation options available. The dining experience was good but could use more variety. Overall, a great place to stay for exploring the area.
